Portraits and Commissions can be created with the use of photographs and video tapes of the subjects you would love portrayed. Natural lighting (sunlight...no camera flash) works best for capturing true colors and setting the mood. I prefer to see the subjects and photograph them myself, but when that is not possible the client may provide me with their own photographs and videotapes for me to examine. (Remember to get written authorization from the photographer releasing copyright if you plan to provide professionally taken photographs and videos.)
Once I find suitable material to work from, I will discuss with the client the options that would best represent their subject and create a quality work of fine art. Due to the uniqueness of each and every commissioned portrait, prices will vary. I will quote a price to you based on the materials I will be working from, degree of difficulty, time, media and approximate size.
A downpayment of 50% is required to initiate the work and I am reimbursed for traveling expenses, photography, and shipping of the artwork. Custom matting and framing are also available at additional cost. All photographs and videos provided by the client will be returned upon completion of the artwork and receipt of final payment.
